k-3ii + da 300mm, heck yeah

kinda liking the DA* 300mm having never owned a prime longer than 100mm... and on the K-3ii it seems impressive

faint smudge on left of parachute man is my fault (its on the filter)

Great combination of camera and lens...add a DA 1.4x teleconverter for a super impressive combination.

hahaha! good one......man I really want a k-3ii.....but I have dropped a lot (to me) coin in the year & a half since getting my K-50 and still have much to learn but man would I love to have a k-3ii!!!

Ive had my da* 300 for over a year, but recently upgraded from a k-5 to a k3ii and man this lens is even a level better eith this camera. You are correct, its one heck of a combination.

I upgraded from the K7 to the K3ii about 6 months ago. The K7 struggled a bit with the DA300mm/ 1.4TC combination. The K3ii relishes the task.

It also rocks with the FA43 and FA77.

I would say the same. I shot beside a guy with a 7DII and 100-400 L mk2 two weeks ago, and a guy with a Nikon D7200 and 200-500 5.6... both of them had more money invested, and much larger setups, but when we compared shots, I can't really say they had anything better than I did. I realize this is also skill dependent and neither of them were professionals.

Oh, sure, keep tempting me to buy the DA300. I'm slowly working on my wife...she's starting to see it's a very good value for a lens.

I wonder if the older lenses like the F300 would perform as well with the new stronger screw-drive on the K3 bodies?
