K20D and noise reduction

You cannot turn it off for long exposures!!!

You could do this with the K10D but now not with the K20D.

This is dissapointing and also i have contacted Pentax Support twice asking if they will add this in on a future firmware but i have not gotten a response...

Anybody know if they plan to make it an option to turn it off?

I was of the understanding that having it off when taking long exposures created hot pixels so therefore it is permanently on for long exposures.

Btw, it was reported that hot pixels were no problem at all if exposure was limted to 8 seconds (the trick only seems to work until 8 sec).
