I dropped my K-50... again...

Though this time not in the snow

It fell from about three feet onto the floor on it's side and a Tak 55/.1.8 on extension tubes was mounted that it hit as well...

..and...

...IT'S PERFECTLY OKAY!!!!

Proves to show the durableness of Pentax.

Can't find anything wrong.

Though it was a heart-wrenching thump when it hit the ground...

the tak will always survive your k-50 might develop some malfunction a thousand shots away.....

I take it both camera and lens survived unscathed?

Crossing my fingers that everything stays that way. I've heard good things about those Tak 55/1.8's - is this the Super Takumar or the SMC variant?

Pretty much except a little ding/scratch on the camera body that is hardly noticeable.

Why are you balancing your tripod on a rickety stool? You seem to have the optical side of things worked out with your Tak and tubes; maybe what you really need is a taller, better tripod? Or an assistant. "Their eyes locked across the loaded tripod."

I just put it down randomly to put my shoes on.
The short tripod is good for macro.

My daughter dropped my K-50+18-135+AF560II from table onto ceramic tiles ... No damage.
As a precaution I'm not using neck strap on any of my cameras any more.
