How to get Live View to make the information go away and see only image?

Is there a way to see, in live view, what you want shoot without all the informational clutter around the edges? Aperture, exposure info etc. I'm using a 645Z, but I would think this would be similar throughout the entire Pentax DSLR range.

uncheck "Info Overlay" under Live View in the Menu. At least it works that way in the K-30.

Thank you. I don't have that option on the 645Z.

There! I did it! An option for a "No information display" appeared and I took it. Now, to figure out how that happened so that I can control it...

I see. In live view, I press "info" button, twice, and the option appears to have info or no info appear in live view.

When in Live View press the Info button. You can then select what you want to be displayed and turn information off completely. It's on page 18 in the manual.

Just press the info button until you see an overlay menu, then select the option for "no information display".
