I've tried quite amount of Pentax lenses, new or old. The worst one I ever had is the FA28-80/3.5-4.7 PZ. I know some owners like it, but I just can't get a half decent shot by this lens on digital

The "worst" I ever had was my DIY monocle lens.
It had been made for manual Minolta at the time but can be easily adopted to any mount.
Here is an example:

Have you given any thought to a pinhole lens?

I've never used one, but they look like they would be fun.

Veijo gets sharper results than I - I think my holes are too large. (When speaking about those in my head, that's my wife's opinion)

Now for my post to be deleted as I'm sure a few other posts have been by the mods.

I'm in a mood today...

Every brand has issues and not everything produced will be perfect.
You on the other hand can't even read and understand the question.

You were starting to make a little sense for a short while but back to the same old crap again. I promised myself to ignore "S**T for Brains" posts but I can't help it today.

RH Go F#*@ Yourself and bother another forum.
Idem... enough said

I used to have a Tou/Five Star 70-200mm f4 and my gosh the spherical aberrations were bad. Sharpness doesn't enter the vocabulary until f11. LoL.

Anyhow, in retrospect, it would have made for a nice lens for those dreamy portraits.

I have a Makinon 24-50/f3.3-4.5 as well that's near the bottom of the list. I would say its 'alright' for the price. The Kit lens easily takes the cake. The Makinon..looked like it had been dropped a few times so the front focus ring's got some play to it. Messes with your eyes.

I have a really bad copy of a Carenar 35 f 2.8. Wide open only a tiny circle in the center renders something that could be consudered "sharp". The rest of the frame is just more than only soft. If stopped down however it gets much better. Anyway flare always remains an issue with this lens.

I have no Idea who made it (Carena was an Importer brand here in Switzerland), but they can be had dirt cheap on fleamarkets in Switzerland.

I would even sell you the lens but its most probably not worth the postage even if I would only charge you a symbolic 1 Chf.

Worst lens I ever saw: T-mount Karl Gener 135mm f3.5
Even its badness is bad. Probably couldn't even warm an ant with it on a sunny day.
I use it to store my T-ring and a lens cap, sometimes to hold down some paper.

RiceHigh's ethnic prejudices are expanded upon in his blog, which is loopy in the extreme: he has troubles with Japan as well as Vietnam.

He probably wants Pentax to be built in China. I wonder why?
