Lightning strikes?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum or not, but I was wondering what the best settings are to capture lightning? I have a Pentax K200 with a DA 18-250 lens. Thanks in advance.

mid aperture like f5.6, low ISO - I use ISO100~200, manual focus to inf. , long exposure with cable release and tripod
