KS-2 problem - Ghost Images on LCD?

Hey all,

So I just got back from vacation where I was lucky enough to get some great shots. Unfortunately on my last night the KS-2 started acting up in a strange way. Whenever I take a photo, the ghost of the photo remains on the screen in the background when I try to take another shot. I can get rid of it by turning the camera off and on again, but as soon as I take one photo it happens again - the silhouette of the last image is floating around the screen, almost like a negative of the last shot. I double checked with a different lens - but same problem:

Here's one I took of a bottle of hot sauce just now to illustrate. I then pointed the camera out the window and the hot sauce is still in the picture:

Any idea what's going on with it?

Thanks!

I vote for poltergeist...

Just kidding...As Adam noted, having the camera in multiple exposure mode is the usual cause. I will confess to having accidentally done this at least once.

Of all the ghosts that might come back to haunt me, a bottle of hot sauce is fairly low down on the worry list
