If i buy this:

It is both a transceiver and receiver in one. The units seem to be sold on an individual basis.

Generally, with wireless flash recievers/transmitters, yes you need one reciever connected to the foot of the camera flash (off of the camera and sitting on a stand). And another transmitter connected to the flash socket on the top of the camera.

In this case, it appears Cactus has rolled the transmitter and the receiver into one device -- so it can behave as either one transmitter or one receiver.

Therefore, you'd need to buy 2 -- one for camera and one for flash. Then set the one on the camera as the transmitter and one attached to the flash as the receiver.

Yes, you need two. If you use an RF60 as the flash, then you only need a trigger for the camera since the radio receiver is built into the RF60.

Yes, you would need to to communicate with another. For example, one for the flash, one for the camera as you said.

Looks like you got some more good advice from some other forum members and you're all set.
