Getting the feel for my new camera

Went out and took a few shots. I'm starting to get an idea what I can do and not do with my lower end lenses. Here are a few samples. Only PP done is some cropping, and re-sizing for the forum. Taken with *ist D. Now I just have to work on enhancing my shooting skills, now that I've got a feel for the lenses I have.

Great job! I especially like the one with the flotation devices. Good composition!

These are much better than the first shots you posted. Very nice series and things are getting much better very quickly.

Like the flotation shot. The D is a great camera. So small and well built. Enjoy it and keep shooting. Thats the way to learn.

Great shots ! Which lenses are you "getting used to"?

These 2. They are not great wide open.
