compact, portable wireless tethering with KX?

I was just curious if there is any way to do wireless tethering with the KX? I used PK Tether for years, but it required both USB cable and laptop. Have advancements been made in order to do wireless?

The K-S2 and K-70 have native wireless tethering (as does the flagship K-1), and the K-3, K-S1, K-3 II, and 645Z can do it with the help of the O-FC1 FluCard. Apart from that, there really isn't a way, and certainly not for the K-x.
