Noiseware for K20D

Looks like Pentax made the right decision to do minimal noise reduction in-camera:

I have been having good luck using Noiseware with my K20D on ISO 800 and above. Anything below that and it really isn't noisy enough to be worth the bother.

I made an A4 print of an ISO 1600 shot last night, with no noise reduction, and it came out just fine.

Their free "Community Edition" stand-alone version works pretty well for high ISO snap shot size (4x6 and maybe larger) prints.

Worth a try...

test images are not challenging enough for noise reduction testing... no fine details... oops, mea culpa - did not see the full one's :-)

I invested in the Noise Ninja Professional add-on for CS3 and find that it is truly amazing.
