This will only support up to the K-5. There has not been a later update AFAIK.

For people who shoot raw in DNG format, they can install the Adobe DNG Codec (http://supportdownloads.adobe.com/product.jsp?product=194&platform=Windows) for seeing photo thumbnails in windows 10.

Best regards,

Best regards,
I'm pretty sure K100D is PEF only for RAW.

I was going to suggest the person try downloading this software:
DxO & DigitalCamera | DxO.com but there is no indication that they support the K100D RAW format on their website.

Adobe DNG converter might help since DNG is more widely supported.

PEF File (What It Is & How To Open One) More ideas...

I see the raws just fine in explorer on my WIN 10 machine but there are so many inexpensive or free viewers available that this should not be an issue. Download Faststone or Fast Picture Viewer or quod libet.

Yes, the k100d is PEF only for RAW.

The DxO software will not open raw files out of the k100d, either pef's or converted dngs, it refuses to have anything to do with them. It may have just been at the cutoff of when they decided Pentax existed as their list of supported models include the k10d and the k200d.
