I've used both Fuji and Pentax, the Fuji camera will be better especially for the price but the Pentax limited lenses are amazing. I changed to pentax purely because of the 20-40 which is the sharpness zoom I've ever owned. The compact 15 & 70 make up an awesome trio of lenses.

KP and XT20 look good from the specs, both are very recently released....

Fuji CANT do IBIS, so they offer stabilisation on plenty of their lenses

XT20 beats the KPs price by around 20-25% depending on where you are.

XT20 is more compact and lighter than the KP
The XT-2 is actually more comparable with the KP than the XT-20, in terms of features. Even the K70 or the K-S2, either of which could now be considered the entry-level Pentax body, is superior to the XT-20 on those terms, and is closer on price than the KP. For a list of the differences between the two Fujis, have a look here.

Are those twins having a disagreement again?

You leave my multiple personality disorder out of this!

Actually, neither of them has either Fuji (one does have a humble X30) but both are good at reading specifications.

Nice combo. According to camera size, the KP is about the same size or smaller than a Fuji XT2. The Fuji primes are faster than the Pentax Ltd ones, but the Pentax limited are smaller and lighter. On top, the KP offers IBIS, the Fuji doesn't. And the KP is cheaper.
Why thanks. That lens (20-40) on the KP just works from a styling point of view as well as an optics/function point of view. It is like several primes in one.

I'm happy the 20~40 has finally found a suitable mate.

Why thank you... It grew bigger and faster along with MUCH more expensive than I planned but I am OK with that. I am very pleased with it, it is a far cry from some of the VERY impressive kits/systems I see assembled on PF, but it should work well for me. In fact the system likely is more advanced than the hack/amateur photographer I am.

The DFA 85 * whenever it comes will sit nicely between the 55 * and 300 *. Thanks again for the kind words.

Use Pentax for birthdays. Leicas for marriages. Fujifilm for funerals.

I am thinking you are saying this because it is a French thing, hmmm.
