KEH - don't track shutter count?

Huh! Just called KEH to ask shutter count of something that looked interesting to me, in EX+ condition (so body clean). Asked shutter count and they said they don't track it. Odd. I suppose I could buy and return if count too high, but then again if nothing else wrong then they might say "no return".

Thoughts?

Once your camera arrives, you can determine the shutter count for yourself by taking a picture, saving it as a JPEG and going to this webpage. It isn't accessible from the camera menu, but it is stored in the EXIF data of pictures.

Yes, I know, it just would be nice if they did that for things that they are selling. Thanks!

Blue K-30, just now reading up on Aperture Block and hoping mine won't have that. I've got 180 days to get it to fail... crossing fingers.

Now you can take two bodies, one with the 21mm and the other with the 15.

One hopes, I need to tame this CBA before I run out of room in my house.

That's weird that KEH doesn't track shutter counts. Other resellers like Roberts Camera generally make that information available on their listings.
