Nothing shows in viewfinder!

Just took a quick pic, went to shoot another and the viewfinder is black! Speed, aperature, and focus confirmation blinking. Took batteries out and reinstalled twice with no change. Any ideas? Went to the manual troubleshooting guide but no reference to this. Any help would be appreciated.

K110D - have had 1 1/2 years with no problems so far.

Your mirror is stuck in the raised position, maybe shutter stuck open too. I suggest leaving the batteries out overnight and trying again. If no luck you should be able to take the lens off and have a look inside, but it sounds like a mechanical failure of the mirror/shutter.

Trip to Pentax I think.
