Reset With Body Cap On

Is it alright to do a factory reset of a K-5IIs with the plastic body cap (original, came with camera) on? I am almost assuming it is, just want to check in case I take the lens off.

I don't see any problem at all.
You could do it without any cap on - but you might get dust on the sensor.

Thanks. I will definitely do it with something on it (lens or body cap) if I do it.
