first of all, I wish to thank all of you that have lent your opinions, expierence, and thoughts when i was requesting information on the above lense. Well it finally came in the mail and what a fine lense it is. Talk about "reach out and touch someone" . I'll be busy the next few weeks, months ect learning this new toy. Just wanted to thank yall.

Awesome, congrats.

I just got mine yesterday (thanks Tom!), and immediatly all the birds on my property hid themselves. Seriously. I've never seen so little wildlife as when I was carrying around that behemoth. Hoping to go up in the mountains later today and have a look around (prolly shoot more with the DA 10-17mm though, ah, irony...)
