Ernie Harwell who did the Detroit Tiger's games on the radio when I was a kid. I could see the lights of Tiger Stadium looking out my bedroom window (in Windsor Ontario) from across the river in the Detroit. If the lights were on, Ernie was broadcasting.
He'd say " Cash grounds out to shortstop, that's 5-3 if you're scoring at home." It wasn't long before I was scoring at home. No one says that anymore.
