Hi all,
Two questions:
1) Does anyone know if it's possible to recover the settings (e.g. number of shots, composite mode) used for a multi-exposure or interval composite from the EXIF of the resulting file (raw or jpeg)? (If so, it would be a great thing to add to the PentaxForums
EXIF online tool...)
2) If you've shot multi-exposures or interval composites from liveview, did you ever observe metering differences between the first shot and the other ones in the sequence? In my recent experience (shooting in Av on a K-3), I found that the very first shot in the sequence had a systematically shorter exposure time than all the others - specifically in my case, the first exposure was always six seconds and the following were 10. Since I was using Interval Composite, I had to adjust the interval accordingly and shoot every 12 seconds or so. If I adjusted the interval to eight seconds (seeing a 6 second exposure displayed by the meter prior to shooting), I would get odd results since after the first shot, the shooting interval became shorter than the duration of the exposure...
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: It occurs to me that I had probably dialed in a bit of negative exposure compensation, which might account for the difference (in question #2 above), if exposure comp is ignored after the first shot (which would be a bug, of course). Would need to test further I guess, but something to think about...
