Release notes.
1- Full Bulb Support
2- New option to disable LV when downloading pictures. I'm not so sure that it brings a benefit, I think there is a limit in the use of the band directly in the camera: 5Mbps for LiveView 5Mbps for download pictures

Bulb seems to work ok for me in just one test.

Disappointed that Pentax hardwired the bandwidth distribution. I'd leave in code and turn LV back on when download is complete.

Will test on Android and then I'll contact Pentax about changing Image Sync and firmware handling of bandwidth.

We keep learning. I doubt that we would have programmed as Pentax did.

Thanks Andrea, I just tried bulb mode on my Ks2 and it works better than the in camera mode. I like how you created a popup window allowing you to shot and stop while a timer count down is running, helps get exactly timed bulb shots. Thanks so much for your work. I can not believe that Pentax won't create software that brings out the best in their own products that would help coustomer relations. That is one area where Canon excels A must for astrophotogaphy. I wonder if you can get the astro tracer to work with your software? I know that would be difficult.

I can not find the source code online, where do you publish that?
It's under GNU public license, so we all need to be able to see it continuously and modify as we see fit.

In testing 08.7, I took a shot, downloaded it, went back to refocus and got the listing at bottom. simfiles folder never allocated!
Not using bulb as you can see. Error looked like a remnant of download speedup which was unchecked.

Turned camera off and program shutdown. Turned camera back on, app opened but locked up. Had to reboot. Must run so test more later.

Unrelated to this, you should un-select image for download when download complete.

Just downloaded this software (version 0806) and installed it under WIndows 10 on my iWork'10 tablet . It works with my K-70, but...:
If I set the camera on Av, in the software the Tv goes automagical to greyed-out "Bulb", and I can't take a photo (see attached screenshot). So I set the camera on P, and everything works fine.
The program sometime freezes, and sometimes it will not shut down. So I have to use Windows taskmanager to stop it.

I thank you for the tests. I checked the code and you are right, AV engages BULB mode. Tomorrow morning I will fix this.
About freezees I will also restore log download feature.

After the app hang, if you can, use Tools icon-> Download log and send to me with steps to reproduce the behavior. If you have to shutdown the app, then at restart do same log action described for freezees.

• What is that hexacon next to LV-Zoom?
• Would it be possible to show the histogram beside the LV picture?
• Wouldn't it be handier if LV is standard on?
• Is it possible to add a delete-function for (in camera-tab) the preview-picture (in the right-click-menu) and in Photos-tab (button next to "Download files"-button)? I think for the delete-function in the Photos-tab you should have to choose between delete from computer and delete from camera (if possible).

Jan, the LV-Zoom doesn't work on the K-70, Andrea and I have done some troubleshooting with the conclusion that there's a bug in the K-70 firmware. It works ok on a K-S2 and other models.

thank you for your tests and your comments.

• as DrawsACircle wrote the k-70 has a bug in LV zoom, I think that I will disable that functionality when this model is connected or... I have to implement it my side.
• the green hexagon is the Pentax traditional way to communicate "focus acquired". There should be some tooltips to give some info about the features.
• histogram: if the application will have interest I could do it.
• my main use of the app is to quickly transfer some images to share them, but I understand your request... I could put an option to choose to have or not LV at startup.
• delete picture in camera tab? ok, but only from the list, not from the camera because I don't think that Pentax API supports image deleting.. I will check this. In photo-tab the app showing only camera pictures.
