My Pentax wifi remote software

Anyone have Flucard and K3 or K3-II? Willing to try this app to see if it works with Flucard? Let us know results please.

Hi: I just finished testing the remote software using the Flucard in my K3.

I connected my windows 10 laptop to the flucards wi-fi signal on my K3.
once connection was made I tested the connection with the Pentax software
Everything worked was able to take and save pictures.
Then I opened the remote beta software
Software could NOT see K3, "getting parameters failed" message on screen.
I tried several times using ver,71 ,,nothing

We really appreciate your time and effort. Andrea will see your work and relate to the software. Hope he sees something that can make it usable with the Flucard.

Andrea, I can uncompress the Android software and send to you if you wish. It is html and js.

Thank you for your test!!! Please help me to debug this behavior.

You have to click the small bug icon on the right of the software. There is the real error. Could you send it to me inside a PM?.

You know the Flucard IP? The app uses 192.168.0.1 that is the default in Pentax WiFi enabled cameras, perhaps Flucard uses 192.168.1.1 . If this is true you have to use the Extras -> Options menu to change the IP.

I have do some researches and I found that wifi camera implementation is different from flucard implementation. Cameras with WiFi use JSON where FluCard uses very old CGI code...

It seems that the question has been answered and this app is not compatible with the Flucard.
I brought the question up and I'll put it to sleep unless Andrea wishes to continue it.

Hi,

v.0.7.5 is online. Release notes:
1. New panel in camera mode to manage pictures taken with the app. This panell will appear at the first shot. With mouse double click you can see a preview (if LV is disabled), multiselection (CTRL or SHIFT as usual in Windows) and right mouse click to download selected pictures. Please test.
2. Fixed a bug with LV that could put the camera in an unstable status after a shot with LV enabled.

Next step:
Refined Photos mode, with more pictures informations... perhaps EXIF data.

Future steps:
- v1.0.0, then I will do a new thread to have more visibility, as RONC mentioned. This also to have more testers and I hope more "interest", I need it to invest my time.
- v1.0.0 stable
- I will implement scheduled shots.

I spent about 45 mins trying 0.75 and like the included panel very useful. Will try more later

Spent more time and noticed the comments on lower left corner of app. Very helpful and really explains what is happening. I'd like to to see it above the major image display though. I mentioned before that every item should just be modifiers of the main subject to keep eyes from wondering. You could place to right of buttons maybe? Even have both places. Comments?

Now you mention SD card slot - could you make slot #1 default? It's not a huge issue, but for owners of 1 SD card slot cameras, it's a click less 😊
