I'm saying goodbye to my K110D, my first DSLR. I'm passing it on to its next owner. I am going to encourage her to sign up on PentaxForums. I wasn't much of a photographer when I got the K110D, and I didn't understand the equipment well, so a lot of the photos I took aren't great, but this is 100% due to my lack of skill/ability and not the fault of the equipment. Here, as a tribute to my fine K110D, are two of the better shots I captured back in the beginning.
This image of a singer at a concert was taken at ISO 1600 using the Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 SP AF XR LD Aspherical IF Di II. It is only cropped slightly, no other edits were made.
This egret was captured at ISO 800 using the Tamron Adaptall-2 300mm f/2.8 360B manual focus lens. I have slightly cropped, de-saturated, and tweaked the contrast and black levels ever so slightly.
