Thanks! Those slightly sepia-toned benches are a fine capture as well!
Two more from the end of yesterday's trip - the same 6MPix gear as the brook above.

Very nice - those photos remind me of evenings at the lake back in Texas.

I saw this rose open in the morning, and then it rained through the afternoon. Thinking I'd pick it before the rain spoiled it I put it on my desk, and having enjoyed it through the evening photographed it last thing before going to bed. Abandoned armchair

K100D + Revuenon 50mm 1.7

Hi, it's been a while since my last post. I had some problems with my replacement K100D, and besides, I've never been a keen winter shooter. Nice to see you all again.

Fond farewell to the K110D

I'm saying goodbye to my K110D, my first DSLR. I'm passing it on to its next owner. I am going to encourage her to sign up on PentaxForums. I wasn't much of a photographer when I got the K110D, and I didn't understand the equipment well, so a lot of the photos I took aren't great, but this is 100% due to my lack of skill/ability and not the fault of the equipment. Here, as a tribute to my fine K110D, are two of the better shots I captured back in the beginning.

This image of a singer at a concert was taken at ISO 1600 using the Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 SP AF XR LD Aspherical IF Di II. It is only cropped slightly, no other edits were made.

This egret was captured at ISO 800 using the Tamron Adaptall-2 300mm f/2.8 360B manual focus lens. I have slightly cropped, de-saturated, and tweaked the contrast and black levels ever so slightly.

Nice pics ! I closely missed the last 6mpx when I purchased my first Pentax DSLR long time ago, it was the K20D, I don't know until recently Pentax switched from CCD to CMOS at that point, and I upgraded to K3 step by step since then. Please excuse my ignorance, what so special CCD is over CMOS, suppose under the best lighting condition and shot static object which is better and the limitations ?
