I thought, maybe near a harbour, seaside express window, coastal - that maybe it was a local term for "fish & chips" that I wasn't familiar with even though I lived in California for 12 months once upon a time (albeit some time ago)

It's still called Fish & Chips here in SoCal I haven't sampled a fishzookie just yet, but I'll report back here when I do. Maybe even with a side of herring.

Looking forward to hear The turkey reminds my of my childhood. Saw them on farms or even in neighbourhood yards. Since then they've become quite rare around here. More often than a gobbler I can spot lamas, alpacas or even ostriches. People's preferences seem to seem to have changed a bit.
