A couple shots from a local car show in August. A '39 Chevy pickup with a '56 Chevy nextdoor. Then a '56 Olds Rocket 88. DA16-45/4 on *ist D

I love these detail shots of curvaceous old cars, and of course the *ist D captures the colours beautifully. Love that metallic green.

Thanks Dan. To me those older cars were not merely transportation, but works of art.

So what is it - if not lemons?
As for the Thor's hammer - no I haven't tried to lift it - but someone must've brought it there.

Two more from Pentax Optio S60.

Finally had some time to try out my K100D Super. Unfortunately my viewfinder is pretty scratched and cloudy. I have to find a donor camera to get it fixed.

These two are taken with a Rikenon 50mm f1.7 I found on a flea market for $10. I like it, it's really compact.

This one is taken with a Tokina SD 70-210mm f4-5.6, I picked up on Ebay for $15. This is a great lens, especially for the money...

Great looking shots. My K100D VF would cloud up sometimes after being stored in its bag for awhile. Taking it out and leaving it in a warm and dry environment would clear it up after awhile. I removed light scratches on the VF by using a Q-tip swab with a tiny dab of toothpaste, and wiping with a clean soft cloth. Good luck!

Thank you! I will try the toothpaste thing. It can't make things any worse. I can hardly focus as it is now and rely mainly on the focus confirmation dot. I will fix it eventually as I like a challenge

Update: Thanks very much for your toothpaste tip!! I didn't use toothpaste, but I remembered years ago, I had to polish a scratched watch with an acrylic crystal. I used a product called "Polywatch" back then. I found the half used container and tried it on the K100D viewfinder. It took the micro-scratches right out and the viewfinder is crystal clear!

Out and about with a K110D I was given the other day. The person wanted to throw it away. It has 6k actuations and looks like new.

All with a Tokina SD 70-210
