Lovely image, and very nice HDR-like post-processing

Thanks, Mike. I was concerned I may have slightly over-cooked it. I enjoy fiddling about in PP, trying new things, and sometimes it's hard to know when to stop...

It's not a Pentax, but I still keep a 6MP Nikon D40 around. The autofocus motor in the only lens I have for it (18-55) is busted from being dropped too many times, so it shoots in manual mode. I switched to Pentax instead of upgrading in Nikon world. I got some great images out of that camera. These images are from 2007.

Twelve years ago, at a loch (the hotel is still there). *ist DS + 18-55, post-processed to make it look much bleaker than it actually was.

Eleven years ago; different lake. (Island is probably still there, expect the boat and swan have moved on).
*ist DS + 18-55. Random water clutter cloned out to make it look even more tranquil, otherwise SOOC.

A couple random shots from 2011 and 2012. First one - Vivitar 135/2.8, and the creek shot with the DA18-55. Both taken with an *ist D:
