That's my approach, most of the time, too, Paul. I have (or put) a lens on the camera, and then I go out to see the world the way that lens can see it. I don't worry about the shots I theoretically miss, because that lens can't take them, since obsessing about that would make me miss something it can take.

Sometimes I have a second camera along with me, not hanging around my neck, but in my vehicle where I can grab it if I want to. It would most likely have a different sort of lens on it.

This is one of my regular dogwalk routes I take Jeannie on. At one time this area was fenced off for safety reasons, but the fence disintegrated a long time ago. Those are backyards to the left - and to the right is a creek, with a 15 ft dropoff Super Tak 35/3.5 on *ist D:

Well this is a thread I missed out on. I have previously owned two 6Mp Pentax dSLRs and can add some images to the collection here, which will bring back some memories for me.
