Congrats! Love the Hofner-style bass

Great shooting, everyone - and thanks for keeping this thread alive and well!

Hi all!

I got a K100D from eBay after seeing these posts here, and I gotta say that the camera really thrives, even though it's 6MP.

These are taken with a 50mm F1.7

Beware! You may forget what canon looks like.If you want autofocus lenses for your new product, pay attention to the 35mm f\2.4. This is a sweet couple, cheap and very useful.Of course 31mm is better but a completely different price.Do not take the whale objects, they will be on the shelf.Sigma 17-50 will be much better. And still, the camera will open if you will shoot in Raw.You will be able to shoot quite complex scenes.I hope I didn't do anything too much...

Great tips, thank you! I will definitely look into the 35mm!

To my *istD friends:

To make removing the CF card easier, make a little flap of packing tape, and stick it to the back of the card so it hangs over the end. When you go to remove the card, just push the release/pop out button, and then pull it by the flap you made. The only trick is in sizing the flap properly. You want it big enough to be useful, but small enough to still let the card door close. Also, make sure it doesn’t quite reach the edges of the card, or it might make the card tight in the slot. I speak from experience, this works wonders!

Oops... In a moment of despair I grabbed the mototool and grimaced at the edge of my memory ... UGLY solution but practical
