You're absolutely right - how's this? It was such a bleak day, I should have gone mono in the first place!

That's a good idea and it works. Or you could enhance the colour of the first image.

A question, is it possible to share from flickr in a way that the picure shown here is clickable so the host page shows up? Tried it with the last one a minute ago using the bbcode but it does'nt work that way, the preview only shows a broken tag. Have a great day.

Copy the whole BBCode and paste it by insert image button, and the text looks like that:

When clicking image it goes to flickr.

So excited. I just bought a Pentax *ist DS today. Long live CCD sensors !!
Back in 2005 I had a Pentax *ist DL, which I sold to my brother in-law, when I bought my Pentax K-7.
Something I regretted almost straight away.
I was never happy with the photos from the K-7.
I eventually sold the K-7 and have been away from photography for many years.
Until this morning, when I saw a *ist DS with a 18-125mm and 70-300mm lense for $150AU, in excellent condition for sale locally.

Somewhere in Milwaukee back in 2009 with my K100D-Super and the Sigma 24-135mm - I just redid the processing with ART1.5 as I'm currently doing with a lot of my K110D and K100D-Super raw files - see if I can squeeze more out of them.
