you want MISTLETOE, here this much for your appetite

what annoys/disturbs me more than mistletoe: those cabins that look like concentration camp watchtowers, distributed everywhere here in germany. Some will say: they're necessary to control wild pig colonies, since big predators have gone extinct.

so, here - again not far away from the Rhine river, at the heights of Karlsruhe town - a pic shot some days ago , again using the M 4/75~150
We would call those "deer stands" in the US; if the pigs are a problem they serve a useful purpose.

The European variety of mistletoe seems to be much more "vigorous" than our Easter US variety, those are really dense growths!
A very interesting difference.

It's been a while since I last went out with my K100D Super ... Today, I went for a walk in my town of Waterloo (Belgium) in search of some pictures ... Not always easy to be inspire by what we meet daily.

K100D Super with SMC DA 16-45mm f/4 ED AL, this combo delivers quite sharp and nice pictures

Open-Air Theatre in the Covid Era

To be honest, it had been neglected years before Covid.

It’s revealing / interesting how the life force of the ground around trees , or maybe the decomposing leaves , melt the snow , whereas the snow remains on the path like that.

I hope so. I hear that it's not as swirly as the 44-2, but maybe a bit sharper and with better coatings. Can't wait
