Hi, it's been a while since my last post. I had some problems with my replacement K100D, and besides, I've never been a keen winter shooter. Nice to see you all again.

Last day I was struggling to fire HSS flash with a M42 lens on Pentax K1 something I'd done before then I realized it was done using the old DS2 camera 'cos it support the old TTL mode.

Hallo to all of you , hope you accept an image from my Sigma dp 1 .
I am not a very active member , my old Pentax K7 is no longer exist , still i find the thread extremely interesting .
I am working with old digital cameras , mostly a Nikon D1 .
The shot is from my hometown , Thessaloniki , Greece .
I don't see any way that the DP1 can be considered 6 MP, but I do love this photo! Good work.

On a late afternoon walk

A recent late afternoon walk. Pedestrian/ Cyclists bridge over Maroondah Hwy. Taken with Pentax ist DS 6Mp and kit lens. ISO 200, 1/1000 s, f/4, 18mm. Used a Datacolor 24 patch Colorchekr to get a colour profile for some shots. Not so good in windy conditions as the X-rite 24 patch with hard plastic holder.

I really do miss that 6mp CCD that my first *Ist DS had. The colors are still hard to match on any camera I've owned since.

I agree! I picked up a K100d a while back and it's a little cracker: I keep looking for the K100d super, they pop up from time to time. Found one, but the guy wouldn't freight to me

@glinda That's really nice!
@paulh The scene with the pier has some dynamics to it

Anemone hepatica photographed today using my 6MPix rig (actually a lot of detail in the full res picture!) + DA 16-45/4.

Thanks. I think shooting it portrait mode might have contributed a little something there. Those blues of yours are amazing!

I'm in Australia. Dunno if they'd consider postage to Australia, probably make it un-economic.
