@paulh The scene with the pier has some dynamics to it

Anemone hepatica photographed today using my 6MPix rig (actually a lot of detail in the full res picture!) + DA 16-45/4.

Really nice colors there! Nicely done with that Rig!

Those blues of yours are amazing!
Thanks! Soft light after a short shower helped here, also the -1/3 EV exposure to prevent blue sensor pixels from oversaturation.

Thanks! These seem to appear more often in violet, sometimes mixed with these blues. Also white or pink varieties may appear but those are quite rare.
Indeed! I'm a proud owner of my 6Mpix rig , actually using it more than a more recent 20MPix CMOS body.

K100D + DA 16-45/4 again.

@Simon K Not a typical scene for a DA 55-300mm F4-5.8 but captured well!
@glinda Love this shot. Especially the foggy background.

Thank's glinda, does it look revuenon alike? There you see how versatile the 55-300 is. Seriously, I like that lens a lot.

Thank's hjortron, I only had the 55-300 with me that day, so the 55-300 it was.

glinda, the fogginess and mellow lighting makes a lovely picture, well captured. I guess the squirrel's "lamp shade" actually is a device to prevent squirrels to climb up, is it?

it is supposed to keep squirrels off the feeder above it.... most of the time it works.... i put out seed to keep the squirrels happy too , sorta like a bribe

and yes, that combination , camera and the zoom, that's always been a good zoom, especially around 210 mm. but whatever, reminds me of the revuenon, yes.

Falling Water Attempts

NO tripod. - NO ND filter. - NO sugar added.

Just my K100D at ISO 200 and DA 16-45/4 stopped down to F20 or F22. If only the sun wasn't so harsh.

Koniks having supper

K100D + DA 55-300

Koniks are a robust breed, they are out in the open here all the time even in winter. Their job is to keep the meadows of the nature reservation free from upcoming shrubs.

Blue Vein

@paulh Nice composition and yellow-blue contrast!
@Simon K Excellent shot! I must take out my Sigma 28-300 again.

The picture below was taken yesterday during my day off spent in mountains nearby.
The area was (until recently) used by the army hence "inaccessible" (well...) but thanks to the fact, the nature there is in an almost pristine condition.

My 6MPix rig again, no post-processing applied.
