Cool shots, guys!
@Peter AU Interesting colour tones of an Australian sunset - thanks for sharing and welcome!

Pardon my ignorance. Some of the shots above come from a Nikon D60 body. Isn't it a 10 MPix camera? ;-)

OOPS! guess I was so busy enjoying all the pics and I posted in the wrong thread... should have popped those into the CCD thread. . I dont use that one much.. mostly use the d200 and k10d. My bad... the d60 is definitely 10 mp... I went in and removed the images except one post where there was discussion about them.. that one I noted as..
"
Post script correction.. nikon d60 is a 10mp camera..should be in the CCD thread.. not this one
."

@brewmaster15 Thanks for your response and for not sending welterweight fighters into a featherweight class competition. I look forward to your next awesome birding shots!

I cleaned the front elements on a Tamron 70-210 MF lens yesterday, and tinkered with the adaptall PKA mount that didn't want to work correctly.
I think I got them sorted, using my *ist DS body and made a few shots to confirm.

It is tough to beat the results of this near 20 year old gear.

There is *nothing* wrong with that old camera - stunning work. Makes me wish I wasn't giving away my K110D LOL

If I remember right you told me about it's qualities a while ago when you told me you have a differently labled version of this lens. I think too it's underrated in the review section. Btw., my copy looks exactly like the lens on the picture in the review, the first version, only it has 8 blades like the second. Anyway, I like the focal range, the optics and it's versatility.
