Sparks

It just rains today without a break, so here's one from the archive. Took this about 12 years ago with my first K100D and the kit lens. The blacksmith had his mobile shop at a craft market and he was kind enough to produce an extra shower of sparks for the picture.

Thank you! There's some weird way that the old CCD sensors capture hues that I've never been able to replicate. Of course I'd love to go back to using them but that 5 second write to card time is a bit hard to stomach now.

beautiful , sharp. never had good luck with teleconverters, but that is a great lens. haven't ever had that one

Hi, Simon - that's a family-owned farm across the road, and yes, there are some nice views at times. But the road has become very busy in recent years - far too many large trucks and motorcycles roaring by...
