@Simon K Excellent job with the Summer 2014 shot. Lovely colour + slight motion blur making it look more dynamic. The paddleboarder and the smith with sparks are great shots too!
@jct us101 Awesome light!
Other recent shot are very nice as well.

The scene below was captured no more than 2 hours ago while returning from a cycling trip. K100D + Sigma 28-300 (180mm).
I like this one .

It still amazes me every time I visit this thread. What you shooters do with relatively low res cameras is a testament to good skills.

Hi Glinda, - from the Old Red Museum website:

The brightly glowing Pegasus gracing the Old Red Museum’s first floor was originally built for the 1939 World’s Fair in New York City. The Pegasus at Old Red was most recently found at the Casa Linda Mobil Gas Station, east of downtown Dallas. When the shopping center was demolished, Pegasus was salvaged by the Old Red Museum. Today it greets visitors, leading them up the Grand Staircase to the second floor Museum galleries.

You did a lovely shot as well, I like the shades of colour and the strong contrast with the shilouette trees.

Oh my, silhouette it is

Possibly, although I think it was fully restored when the museum took possession of it. Here's a couple more of the Old Red Courthouse. DA18-55 on *ist D, taken Jan. 2015:

@paulh Very nice. I must attach the 18-55 the K100D came with again.

When my wife was looking at the picture below, she wasn't sure what she was seeing. Well, it's an engraved cross in a church wall with two pigeons using it as their shelter. Photographed yesterday with my 6Mpix rig and Sigma 28-300.

One does have to look a few seconds for the brain to figure it out!
