I picked up the 40 some years ago attached to a working ME Super for $AUD50. Given what I paid for it then the market has somewhat changed!

The colours of the green leaves and the orange go together well. It think it would also be and interesting subject in black and white.

This was in a previous October... Start of fire season here. These burns require a permit at that time of year. Of course if you are a volunteer in the local rural fire service brigade you can use it as a training exercise. Hence the Category 9 truck (First responder, light duties - affectionatly known as a "Cat 9") on stand by.

The only bears we have are Koala Bears and nasty Drop Bears but neither are actually bears. Come to think of it there is no equivalent campaign to Smokey here at all. That maybe because of the high profile the volunteer fire services have here.
