Scouting party. *istD just after purchase in 2004, lens? Probably the Sigma ß II 60-200 F4-5.6 at 200mm but no record.

Nice shot, and congrats on being an early adopter of the D! Do you still have it? I got my first D (first Pentax and first DSLR for me) in 2010, and it's still going strong at around 35k clicks. I got another a couple years later (full-time m42 these days), and then picked up a DS on a whim last year. Love the little 6 megapicklers

A creek running alongside and below the trail at Hill Canyon. S-M-C Takumar 28/3.5 on *ist D

Thanks. Coming from 20 years of using a PK mount SLR (Cosina CT-7) I replaced my Olympus C2000Z with the *istD in July 2004. Still have it with about 12000 activations.

July this year on a clear winter's day. Flood waters in the back paddock. *istD Sigma Zoom Master 35-70. Most of this water is still there today. Very picturesque though!

Back in 2006. *istD and probably the SMC M 200mm. Phantom was rescued in 1999 from a small house with 90 other Cockers. He left us in 2012.
