That was definitely a factor.

So did I. But it justifies the purchase of much more expensive lenses - legacy and modern - than I ever would have considered before; it deepens the grip of the LBA.

Are you still there reading all this?

You should have gone off and bought it by now.

He did. He's just being polite and keeping up with interested posters. What? You're advocating him leaving us all dangling in the wind?

We gave him advice, he owes us.

If he ever ignores us we'll be saying "Remember that time you didn't know if you should buy a K-1 and we gave you advice... and now you treat us like this." There will be outrage.

and indignation.

It must be killing you. The couple of days before mine came I checked the tracking info every couple of hours.

Not to me, it doesn't. I have enough lenses (and cameras to put them on) to last me a lifetime.

In the meantime I have 4 rolls of film. I probably won't finish one of them before the K-1 arrives.

At least you have a full-frame camera to use while you wait for your full-frame camera!!

What I found out was, even though I had APS-c gear I was still acting like I was shooting a 50 on a Full Frame. The spot I walk to for my first look through the viewfinder is 50mm. MY first digital was a *ist in like 2004 or something. It took a few years before discovered it was APS-c. I'm not sure I ever adjusted. The first lens I bought apart from the kit for the *ist was my Sigma 70-300 and then my FA 50 1.7. It took 13 years but I finally have what I thought I was buying.
That is the big advantage of shooting multiple formats, you don't get stuck into thinking what a 50mm lens should be, I found it too wide on a Hasselblad so I got the 60 instead and my bellows on my 5X7 will not even contract enough to shoot 50mm. You need to get the 645Z and a Pentax 67 to solve your problem.
