I would much more prefer K10D over K20 or even K-7.
K-S1 is a different matter , I have one and love to use it with compact primes and limited.

I got my k10d about a month ago from keh for around 100. The top lcd was the selling point for me since it displays all the settings, but I do have my eyes set on a k5 now.

I have a K10d and a K-S1. For me they compliment each other nicely and the cost was right
The K10d replaced a K20d and I think it gives me better images. I never used the K20d past ISO 640 because the K20d's noise is very very ugly. I can use the K10d at ISO 800 easily as long as I expose correctly (but mostly use ISO 100 because it's just gorgeous )
The K-S1 replaced my K-r which is a great little camera by the way. The advantage of the K-S1 for me is basically the bigger viewfinder (I shoot manual focus lenses) and accuracy of AF in artificial light when I do use AF. 12Mp was always enough for my purposes - and so is 10Mp

I'd take the K10D.

Thanks to all, one of the key feature for me is to be able to be able to do the SDM to screwdrive conversion (I'am lurking for a big update: an affordable 60-250).
I know, the K-10D can do it but not sure about the K200D or the K-S1.

K10D: controls (2 wheels) + Tethering + can do the SDM to screwdrive conversion, 80-120$ shipped

Also, K10D has pentaprism viewfinder. I have a K200D and the viewfinder is not as bright as the Pentaprism finder in my K30.

For SDM conversions, you could pick up a K100D for about 60 dollars. The 6MP sensor is quite good if you don't crop. See here: The Six-Megapixel Club - PentaxForums.com

I think for the K10D to do the SDM conversions, you have to have an older (pre-1.20) firmware. I'm pretty sure the K200D won't do those, and the K-S1 definitely won't.

Thank You All for feedback.
I think that I will try to borrow a K10D as I just need to convert 1 lens (in the future).

Honestly, you can't go wrong with either camera. I have both a K10D and a K200D. I paid $74 for the K10D and $94 for the K200D. Each came with an 18-55mm kit lens. The K10D had the original DA version and the K200D came with the DAII version, not that I can tell a lick of difference between the two lenses' performance. The weight difference is also minimal. The K10D with a battery in its belly but without a lens or battery grip attached, is about five ounces heavier than the K200D in the same state. That difference grows to six ounces with the grip and kit lens in place. Both cameras are uncomfortably heavy with their respective battery grips in place. Without the grips, the K200D is considerably more comfortable in my hands, thanks in part to the fatter grip necessitated by the AA batteries. Both cameras take great photos but the K200D is a little simpler to use while the K10D is a little more robustly constructed. In choosing between the two, price and condition would be the primary considerations.

I had two holidays when I shot in parallel on K-m (K-2000) and K200, and two holidays, when on K-m and K10.
I must say, the K10 has the weakest dynamic range (even in RAW), the worst ISO 800 and K10 is the slowest in operation.
K-m the best of the three. K200 in the middle, closer to K-m.

To switch from SDM to a screwdriver, you need to program the lens itself. It does not depend on the camera model.

the K10D is different , if you keep firmware 1.20 ( as I did) the camera will ignore SDM AF and will use screwdriver instead

Programming lens is universal solution for every body. Why not to use it?
