solved

Hello everyone,

I'm going crazy with this problem and really need your help.

I have a K10D for over 1 year and recently started using a 8Gb Sandisk Extreme III. (bought last May at Adorama)

On my vacations I took hundreds of shots and when Itried to copy them to my computer (HP Pavillion dv6000 series+Vista) something horrible happened.

The first ones (about 3Gb) are fine but I can't open the last ones on my PC (most are just RAW and other are RAW+JPEG). I just can't open neither the RAW nor the JPEG.

On the camera they ALL look fine. Is this a problem with the card or with computer?

Does anyone ever solved this kind of trouble?

Thanks for your help, I really need it.

Luis

P.S. I looked but haven't found any solution so pardon me if this has been solved before.

EDIT: Man, I feel so stupid. Just tries the card with the card reader that came with the card and now everything is fine. Now I'm off to bang my head against the wall. Sorry for the waste of time

Well at least you solved the problem. I've done the same sort of thing many times.

The technical answer is that your computer's card reader is not SDHC-compatible.

Ainda bem que resolveu. É que não acredito no estuque das paredes modernas.

I'm glad it's solved. It's because I don't believe on modern walls Stucco.
