Now I can look at the flickr Pentax stats...

We can be happy, Pentax is ahead of Nokia, Blackberry, Kodak and Leica in terms of usage. Not ahead of any real camera companies but, hey....

Not surprisingly.... K-5 users (142 daily users) are the big contributors, the K-5 was an industry leader when it came out and still stacks up well against whatever you want to compare it to for the average shooter, followed by K-50 and K-30s, but, no Pentax body is anywhere close to the K10D. That is really not a good sign. And the K-x is really close to the K10D.
SO from the K10D there are 17 million images.
From the K-5, 14 million images, but add in the K-5II and you have almost 17 million images.
K-1 -915 images, average 1 daily user.
645z 51 images, 1 daily user
How bad is that?
The Canon 5D mkII has 235 million items and 714 daily users, many must have upgraded) The Canon 5D mk III has only 165 million items but 2902 daily users. That looks like the most of any camera out there.
There are more high end 1dx items than [rpbab;y the best two Pentax items combined at 23million. If course, shooting 15 frames per second you can take a lot more images.
The Sony A600 has 40 million items (1066 daily users)
the Nikon D7000 has 160 million items and 1329 daily users. It looks like the D750 tops the Nikon list with 1690 daily users.
Looking at flickr, you have to say, it's avery low percentage out there actually using Pentax gear. Not that we care much about numbers. I own, 3 of those cameras, that's all I need.
Between the 5D mk 2 and 5D mk 3 there are 3813 daily users. That's a lot of high end shooters with a lot of daily activity. Pentax's best two models K-5 and K50 240 daily users. Sometimes it's best not to think about these things and just go shoot.
