K10D Cleaning

How often should the K10D be taken in for a good cleaning and a good look over as well as my 31mm limited lens?
I also noticed that I have side to side play at the very end of my lens. Is this normal and should I take that in to have it checked. It is eight months old and I received it this way brand new in the box. I love my lens.

Thank You,
EAD Studios

Love it back by cleaning with love

IMHO start up dust sensor cleaning blower and microfiber does the trick and occasional cleaning of your camera bag etc

I'm not sure what you mean by cleaning. For the sensor, I use a Giotto blower when I have a dust spot. So far, 9 months, I've never needed to do more than that.

For the body, when it looks grungy I wipe it down with a soft cloth with some Windex on it and use a brush to get dust and grit out of cracks and crevasses.
