I am lucky enough to have both the KP and the K-1. For me, my simple rule is KP for long lenses - K-1 for wide angle. When weight or portability is the biggest concern I reach for the KP with my DA 15 and 18-135. Short of serious pixel peeping, it's hard to tell the difference in IQ.
