Highly doubt they're gonna be making updated Kmount lenses anytime soon, they're barely even making any for Oly/Pana (only 4 primes so far) & Sony (8 primes, 3 zooms so far). Their main money makers right now are Canon & Nikon.

and I think I've seen one Pentax poster in a camera store in Montreal.
