No spare, sorry. Don't think I'd be able to part with my copy.

Pick a number between 1-85. If I get it right you give me your Pentax-A 85mm f1.4. Let me know when your ready

Okay. But if you get it wrong you give me your K-S2. I like the odds on this one!

I’ll put in a vote for the SMC lenses (K series) which in many cases are their Takumar predecessors with a bayonet Mount. Quite a number of them have a near Cult following here.

I recently got a K 55 1.8 and am very impressed indeed. Build quality is top notch, focus butter smooth but the images from it are what impressed the most. This lens is a great value in my opinion.
In the past I've had other K lenses (24 F2.8, 50 F4 Macro and 28 F2.0 come to mind) and they are (IMHO) worthy of a vote here. The 28 F2.0 is the one lens I truly regret ever selling.

AF Lenses VS. MF Older Lenses Shoot Out Which Is Better?
That is a loaded question and hardly anyone can answer that. As there are so many AF & MF lenses (good ones and bad ones) around , it is impossible to ascertain AF is better than MF lenses in shoot-out (or vice versa).
If one can handle manual focus well enough, there is a cost advantage as they are generally inexpensive. That is about it.
