have you gone up to " cameras " above and looked at the " In Depth Review " for the K 1?

you could also look at this:

The 28-105 is terrific. Take a few thousand pictures with it and then sort them by focal length. Buy a prime at or near that length and off you’ll go.

Both the 28-105mm and the 24-70mm are sharp options if you're looking for a zoom. Depends on if you value compactness over speed/a wider FoV, or the other way around.

Depends on your budget really.
Two of my most commonly used general purpose lenses are the DFA 28-105 and FA35 f2 (which I like much better on the K-1 than I did on the K-5).

When someone says 'everyday' I assume a fairly light weight, do all, walk around lens. That would be the DFA 28-105.

If a zoom, the 28-105 and 24-70 as already stated are great.

For a prime, I'd take a good look at the 43 limited. Love the rendering. Wonderful bokeh. Fast, compact, sharp. Hard not to love it.

43ltd for me as well!

It's sharp, fast, small, has nice rendering, 49mm filter thread.

Never have to ask this question, because I only have very sharp lenses, and this is how I sharpen my lenses.

no wonder mine aren't sharp

I've been trying to use a belt grinder to sharpen it
