TAv was always something I avoided years ago, but ever-improving high ISO performance has made it more than viable. Oddly, that setting still has a gut-reaction to me because it used to equate to "Set dial here if you want to get incredibly noisy photos once in a while unexpectedly". It's been hard for that little symbol to shake its stigma in my mind.

Ditto. In this regard, I find I had better results in TAv mode with my K-50 than I do with my K-S2, and I can't figure out why.
