Where is the Pentax K200D made?

In what country is the Pentax K200D made?

I would bet that it is assembled in the Phillippines. That is where my Camera was assembled. Of coure the components come from many different countries, since this is a world ecconomy. I guess we will really never know exactly where it is made, we don't even know where you live. LOL!

K200D ...assembled in The Philippines.
BG3 ...assembled in The Philippines.
18-55II ...assembled in Vietnam.

Thanks to bigdave and clicker for the info.

I have owned Pentaxes since the Spotmatic 35mm with the screw thread lenses.

The last Pentax I bought was a Pentax ZX-5 35mm, eleven years ago with a Vivitar 100mm macro and a Tamron LD 28~200mm zoom.
Will I have any problem using either of those those lenses on a Pentax K200D if I buy one?

You won't have any problems with those lenses if they have an 'A' setting on the aperture ring. If they do not have an 'A' setting you can still use the lenses but only in manual exposure mode.
