I’m a big fan of buying used on forums and I currently purchase nearly all my gear used. Keep an eye out for a body between $700-$750. I don’t see it going lower than that for a long while...

It is worth the 900 new but I understand not wanting to lay out that much money for a body only. The forums have had several over the last 4 months in the 725 to 750 range. Just not currently.

Today is another 20% day at fleaBay, so you could do what I did and snag a new KP for cheap! Just be sure the seller is an authorized Ricoh reseller if you care about warranties.

If this was new I would grab another in a second. However they don't disclose the shutter count and only offer a 30 day warranty on these Demo Bodies , although it is unconditional for returns during that short period. To me that's still taking a big chance after 30 days.

I just had an Amazon Alert on a Lightning Deal......I just bought my second New KP for $699 !
I tried to post the link here , but it seems the deal is gone ?

Glad you got one. The tax deterred me since I have the K-3ii and do not really need the KP. But I am happy you found that deal. On my end it still shows only 11% claimed.

I don't understand it ? It gave me a small time limit to purchase once I had it in my cart ? When I try to reorder again it comes up regular price , but when searching shows up in results ? Strange.....yet I Sealed the Deal on my KP future.
Now I have to sell my K-1 and used K-r.
I loved my K-3II for a long while....but the articulating screen is now a "Must Have" for me , even if not on a Pro/Flagship body.

Yeh, I always do that, find a bargain and then have to sell something. I keep promising myself I will sell first, then buy but that does not happen enough.
