Keep the overview on the increasing tethering options for Pentax cameras

Since the introduction of the Pentax SDK, the availability of several official apps by ricoh and some USB options, knowing which camera is supported by which software starts to get complicated.
Four SDKS to be released - PentaxForums.com
Software support for Pentax needed! - PentaxForums.com
PC Desktop tethering K-1 via WLAN works well - PentaxForums.com

So what about creating a spreadsheet which combines all solutions and supported cameras?
Maybe comprehensive like here, but just more easy to read.

And with this software, there are a bunch of options and possible combinations.

Thanks, that's an start!
I'd just find out that the *istD isn't supported - just in case the table would be corrected.

Great idea. I was wondering whether someone would start developing a wifi-app for Mac or iPad with the new apis.
Some of the existing solutions might be PC- or Mac-only (or iOS/Android), so maybe it would be interesting if that spreadsheet would include that info.

I contacted the developer of PK_Tether to inform him about the SDKs. Unfortunately he said he doesn't have any of the supported cameras so would not be re-opening development. Pity as PK_Tether works well with my K10D and I would like to continue using it whenever I get around to upgrading my camera.

Maybe someone with the newer cameras could collaborate with him.

Since the developer of PK_Tether has stopped development of the program and has expressed that he has no interest in continuing development I doubt any additional camera support will be added.

The best you can hope for is that someone will release a program using the SDKits.

It is sad to read this, but it is a hope.
