K10 pop up flash as a slave?

My sigma DG500 super is in for service and I was wondering if there would be a way to get my K10 pop up flash to be triggered from my wife's K100?

just wanted to do some experementing..

cheers

Randy,

I doubt it. Venturing to other brand, a D50 won't trigger a D80's on board flash (we tried everything, short of breaking the flash off).

Hi Randy:

Check the "using an external flash" (or equivalent) section of the manual. The K100D manual has a "yes/no" list of flash features, and the answer is...nope, onboard can't be a slave...

Just get a small el cheapo single pin flash, slap a slave under it, and stick it on the K10, go to a photo show by you and you should be able to find those pieces used for less that $20 or so...

thanks

I have an old flash, but the slave that goes on the bottom of a flash is a bit to much for me up here in canada.... $80 dollars.

I will likely get one someday though...

thanks again for the idea
